One of the mutants of the Wasteland, born from the FEV virus. It is a type of chimera, made up of randomly fused and merged fragments of human and animal bodies.

On the West Coast, Centaur mutants were created by the Master and are almost always encountered alongside Floaters. They have a strong torso and six human arms, which serve as legs. A cluster of thick tentacles grows from their abdomen, scraping the ground beneath them. Centaurs have two heads – one human and one dog – attached to thick, long necks, suggesting that the centaurs created by the Master are a mixture of humans and dogs.

They pose a significant threat even to experienced players.

Like Floaters, their attacks can also cause radiation poisoning.
